Greater Pittsburgh Suzuki Institute

The Greater Pittsburgh Suzuki Institute is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting young musicians studying the Suzuki method. We aim to offer programs that enhance music study, build community, and nurture each individual. We offer yearly workshops and a summer institute each August. We are affiliated with a year-round program called Community Music School of Pittsburgh.

PROGRAM   DETAILS

Building an inclusive community of children and adults as they expand and explore their love of music inspired by the Suzuki method.

Offerings

  • Annual Suzuki Institute Day Camp in August of each year in the City of Pittsburgh, PA
  • Winter workshop
  • May outdoor workshop
  • Annual fundraising events 
  • Parent education and support

Who We Serve

We are an inclusive organization open to anyone who is learning a musical instrument, especially those using the Suzuki method. Our programs are operated in and around the Greater Pittsburgh area.

Community Music School

We partner with Community Music School to offer Suzuki lessons and groups in piano, violin, cello, brass, and flute in locations around Pittsburgh.
